An APPLE today keeps MICROSOFT away..

Location: Wall Street, Lower Manhatten, New York City, USA
Date : May 26,2010...

It was just like another day...Stocks ticking green and red..
But it was the day of 2 important stocks....
the big rivals of all time..APPLE and MICROSOFT...

BREAKING NEWS : APPLE in now WORTH more than MICROSOFT..

Year 1997: APPLE..a co. that reached to where it was started..a big "ZERO"..and When Michael Dell was asked what he would do if he owned then-troubled Apple Computer, he said "I'd shut it down and give the money back to the shareholders."..and came a man for the rescue..a magician..STEVE JOBS

Year 2000: The market capitalization of Microsoft almost 35 times that of APPLE..Bill Gates decides to get off from the post of CEO..

Year 2006: Steve Jobs sent an email to all employees when Apple's market capitalization rose above Dell's. The email read: Team, it turned out that Michael Dell wasn't perfect at predicting the future. Based on today's stock market close, Apple is worth more than Dell. Stocks go up and down, and things may be different tomorrow. But it was worth a moment of reflection that day...

YEAR 2010: May 26 was the day and APPLE's market capitalization rose beyond MICROSOFT to take over as most valued technology company..a title truly deserved..keeping in mind the diversity APPLE has in its business.

Last decade saw a huge turnaround of the technology giant...the companies saw their fortune changing and this fresh piece of news was nice to hear for a person like me..an APPLE fanatic.a big fan of STEVE Jobs...

But believe me friends, the decade to come will be even more interesting, as the competition grows more..leading to more innovations and newer daily lyf products...

Best of LUCK..Apple & Microsoft..
