The Odd Men Out.

Sometimes I feel like laughing at the desperate comedy of the world! This is the world full of people intoxicated with their own egos, drunk with a sense of their own importance, who just go off gadded about in their automobiles, in frequent expensive malls and restaurants to blow off all their money on works of ‘art’ of singular hideousness, which probably won’t serve any worthwhile purpose other than lurking in some sinister corner of their oddly decorated mansion. the first rain..

the first things in life are always worth remembering...the first silence...the first exchange of looks... the first love... the first rain drops after dry summer days. Rains are the wings of desire, nvr tired of floating from the sky of one heart to another. the sky gets enveloped in dark grey clouds. you hear the first distant rumblings of thunder...and you come out in the porch to feel the force of the wind...n suddenly the wind turns into gale and rain starts to pour all around...on green leaves and the on window pane... the chattering, blabbering of the drops when it flows through the pipe. the music played by these drops are innocently composed by the grey clouds..the smell of earth wen soaked by these drops of rain is like the aroma of you have been waiting for such long... LOVE - WITHOUT THAT LETTER... !!!!!

Remember that song – “Likhe jo khat tujhe.. woh teri yaad mein..”. Now imagine.. “Likhe jo email tujhe woh teri yaad mein” or “ Posted jo status message tujhe..?” or worse.. “Phool tujhe bheja hai  khat mein…” or “Phool ki tasvir bheji hai email mein?” There was a time when a swan was the conduit of the message of love between Nala and Damayanti.  My grade 3 Hindi teacher shared a very beautiful thought. If you have nice thing to share..write a letter or else you know..telegraph was popularly known to be bad news bearer those days.  And now today there is internet as means to communicate - the facebook, whatsapp and what not.. I still cannot come to terms with this. Nothing can surpass the pleasure of pouring your heart out to a loved one on the piece of paper. The movement of the pen on paper is like the beating of your heart. You write, re-write, add a little more feel. You can choose stationery you like , indulge in calligraphy and poetry to your heart’...
