Insight Out

The snow seems to be endless, a heavy blanket on the outdoors. All the world that I see from my balcony is draped in white and the flakes are coming down as big as pop-corns.  It's late afternoon - the sun is just setting (a cold yellow color) behind some colder violet hills, sky as dark as it can be... and I am up in my window seat to enjoy this beauty..The snow drifting against the windows, politely begging entrance and then falling with disappointment to the ground.  A fine sheen of sugary frost has covered everything in sight, and white smoke rising from chimneys. Some lamps switched on..and the lights from them has made the snowballs look yellow. Trees laden with snow flakes..n a few of them haunted by ghost of snow flakes..standing naked... Everything around has fallen quiet.And in the falling quiet there was no sky or earth, only snow lifting the wind, frosting the window glass, chilling the rooms, deadening and hushing Denver. Snow..unceasing snow..

and the reasons that you are condemned to the life of eternal confusion. 1. Your day changes to night and night to day...and you are off-schedule for quite a time.. 2. You start referring to city as downtown. 2. Kilometers to Miles..KG to Pounds..Celsius to Fahrenheit..Left side drive to Right side Drive..You have no idea how much you weigh any more and are scarred for life when it comes to driving... 3. You spelled it centre...and your centre changed..it changed to center... 4. A few weeks ago cricket was all around and football was on your mind and you thought u know a lot about sports... To your dismay.. u don't know whats happening here..what this soccer is all about and golf..lets not think on that... 5.You used to call it tomato sauce and now learnt to call it ketchup..and label anyone who called it sauce as FOB(fresh off boat).. 6. For last 25 years your day comes before your month and now you realize it's the month that has to come first..(thanks to IT..t
